May 2017 Desktop Wallpaper Calendar

As we start a new month, I'd like to take a moment to reflect on the past few weeks and look ahead at what's to come. In this post, I'll be sharing my May 2017 desktop wallpaper calendar with you.

For those who prefer a timeless design, don't worry - I've left the year off of the 'no-dates' versions, so you can use it for any May in the future. Simply pin this article for later and enjoy!

The download package includes two common resolutions: 1280x1024px and 1920x1080px, both with and without dates. Whether you prefer a clean, minimalist look or one that's a bit more playful, there's something for everyone.

So what inspired this month's design? For May, I chose to create a vibrant and colorful wallpaper that captures the essence of spring. Using my Winsor & Newton watercolor pan set, I carefully dripped different colors onto Canson watercolor paper to achieve a unique, whimsical effect. Once scanned and enhanced using Adobe Photoshop, I added the month's name - May - using my favorite font, Miss Magnolia.
